Research Interests

In addition to the olfactory function, the nose contributes to adding humidity to and increasing the temperature of inhaled air. It is essential for thermal homeostasis, and mammals that thrive in varied environments have diverse nasal morphology. My recent work has focused on the turbinal of bats. I use three-dimensional visualization techniques and micro and macrodissection to understand anatomical structures.
